The Big Three

There’s a phrase floating around the universe that didn’t make much sense until I unchained myself from religion and delved into the world of the esoteric: things come in threes.

Now, there are some variations. There is the “good things come in threes” and the negative “bad things come in threes.”

I’m not going to get deep into the origin of this phrase, but understand that it’s steeped in mysticism.

Things come in threes. What does that mean? Why is it three? Why not four? Why not two?

Great questions! Let’s focus on the most important: why is it three?

Three is the number of conception, fertility; for something to be created, two things must procreate.

The mother, the father, and the child.

The Holy Trinity: God the father, God the son, and the holy spirit.

The mind, the body, and the soul.

If you’re into astrology or have heard it in passing, perhaps you’ve heard of the Big 3 in a birth chart: The Sun, The Moon, and The Rising (ascendant) sign. These elements have the most pull on an individual's life.

Or maybe you’re suddenly drawn to triangles and pyramids. Why are they so fascinating? Think about the amazing shapes they create when you combine them:

1. The base of two triangles glued together becomes the diamond symbol.
2. If you superimpose two triangles, one pointing up and one pointing down, you get the Star of David.
3.  When you overlap three equilateral triangles, you create a pentagon. Cool, right?

Ok, great?

Why does this matter?

Well, within this number, there lies the key to manifestation. There is the potential to control our individual worlds from the most ethereal of the big three all the way down to the action we take.

We are not reduced or controlled by fate, destiny, divine will, or any of that.

We have the power to shift our realities, and we do it all the time, but we do it unawares.

Have you ever wanted to achieve something you thought was impossible? Obtain a certain amount of money? Fall in love with someone who loves you back? Feel whole inside?

Well, here’s the formula: thoughts + emotion + aligned action = reality

But you’d need to understand the three planes of existence to truly understand this, right?
